quiet systems, careful code

Dev ver code, code des God.

I prefer code that stays readable after the excitement fades. Less performance, less noise, more form, more structure, and enough restraint to endure maintenance.

I keep returning to Linux, terminals, text files, and interfaces that feel composed rather than decorated. If it cannot age well, it probably is not finished.

A programmer with a philosophical filter. I like systems that explain themselves, typography that stays quiet, and pages that leave enough room for thought.
